Currently, our tax team is looking for a Tax Associate II to join our team. Roles and responsibilities
Individuals at this level require a college degree with a major in accounting or other appropriate business field, sufficient hours to sit for the CPA exam (150) and have from one to four years of experience. Tax Associate II individuals are expected to:
Assigned primarily to tax engagements:
Begin developing a command of pertinent IRC sections and regulations.
Obtain a working knowledge of research techniques and the various research sources in the firm library.
Becoming familiar with tax research, including a knowledge of the reference sources available to the firm.
Become proficient in the basic preparation of various types of tax returns and begin exposure to other types and more comprehensive tax engagements.
Begin having involvement supervising other staff members and initial review of their work.
Partner’s discretion as to their overall ability and qualities to work effectively at this level.
